Parent and Family Engagement Policy

Del Amo Elementary School has developed a written Title I parent and family engagement policy with input from Title I parents and agreed upon by Title I parents. Del Amo developed this policy by helping parents understand some of their Title 1 rights, such as the right to monitor their child’s progress, and their right to work with teachers to improve the performance of their children. The English Learner Advisory Committee and the School Site Council which is composed of Del Amo Staff and parents developed the policy together.
